The Champion Power Equipment 8500-Watt Electric Start Dual Fuel Inverter Generator with CO Shield® is ultra-quiet and ideal for camping, tailgating, powering items around the RV or providing backup for your essentials. Champion’s EZ Start Dial makes getting started quick and easy. Featuring Cold Start technology, extended run time, electric start with battery and an easy to read fuel gauge. With a 1.2-quart oil capacity (included 10W-30) and a low oil shut-off sensor, this inverter operates at an ultra-quiet 61 dBA from 23 feet, which is about as loud as normal speech. The no-tool access panel and oil drain tube allow for easy maintenance. Operate your Dual Fuel inverter right out of the box on gasoline or propane, and easily switch fuels with the EZ Start dial. When the 5.33-gallon tank of gasoline is full, the 420cc Champion engine produces 8500 starting watts and 7000 running watts and will run for up to 14 hours at 25% load. When using a 20-pound propane tank, it produces 8500 starting watts and 6300 running watts and will run for up to 12 hours at 25% load.

Parts
Dual Fuel Flexibility: Runs on gasoline or propane, providing versatile fueling options for convenience.
Powerful Output: 7000W running and 8500W peak power, suitable for home backup, RVs, and job sites.
Low THD (Total Harmonic Distortion): Provides clean power for sensitive electronics, including laptops and TVs.
CO Shield Technology: Automatically shuts down the generator if harmful carbon monoxide levels are detected, ensuring user safety.
Electric Start: Quick and easy starting with just the push of a button.
Quiet Operation: 58 dBA noise level, making it perfect for residential areas, camping, or tailgating.
Portability: Lightweight design with wheeled mobility for easy transport.
A: The low THD ensures that the generator provides clean power suitable for sensitive electronics like laptops, smartphones, and TVs without damaging them.
A: CO Shield technology monitors carbon monoxide levels and automatically shuts down the generator if CO levels become hazardous, ensuring safe operation in any environment.
A: The electric start provides easy, push-button operation, and there is also a recoil backup for manual starting if necessary.
A: On gas, the 4.2-gallon tank provides up to 8 hours of runtime at 50% load, while on propane, the runtime depends on the size of the propane tank used.
Fuel System: Always use fresh gasoline or propane. Drain fuel if storing for a long period and add a fuel stabilizer for extended storage.
Oil Maintenance: Check oil levels before each use and change oil as per the manufacturer’s recommendations. Use the correct oil type to keep the engine running smoothly.
Air Filter Care: Clean or replace the air filter regularly to ensure optimal engine performance and airflow.
Spark Plug Inspection: Inspect and clean the spark plug for reliable ignition. Replace if necessary.
Battery Check: Ensure the battery is charged for electric start functionality. Replace it if it shows signs of poor performance.
CO Shield Functionality: Make sure the CO Shield is working correctly to prevent carbon monoxide buildup during operation.
General Maintenance: Before each use, check for fuel leaks, tighten any loose bolts, and inspect for any wear or damage.
